Programme Steering Committee (PSC)

The Programme Steering Committee (PSC): is chaired by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Lands Agriculture Water Climate and Rural Resettlement and is responsible for programme oversight and strategic guidance. The PSC is made up of senior representatives of the principal stakeholders including:

ministries relevant to SIRP: Ministry of Lands Agriculture Water Climate and Rural Resettlement, Promotion and Preservation of National Culture and Heritage (MRDPPNCH); Ministry of Finance and Economic Development (MoFED); Ministry of Women Affairs, Gender and Community Development (MWAGCD); Ministry of Environment, Water and Climate (MoEWC); Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and Cooperative Development (MSMECD)
farmer organisations,
the private sector,
development partners and non-government organisations.

Other members are co-opted into the PSC as and when required.
