International Women’s Day -08 March 2022
On the 8th of March, 2022, the Smallholder Irrigation Revitalisation Programme will join the world in marking International Women’s Day. In line with theme “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow”, SIRP recognises the contribution of women and girls around the world, and especially in Zimbabwe who are making an invaluable contribution to agriculture and national food security. We acknowledge the role played by women in climate change adaptation, mitigation and response to build a more sustainable future for all.
