As a village health worker I now can teach various ways of food preparation

“As a village health workers it is our duty to spread this nutrition gospel and to ensure that our communities live a healthy lifestyle. Through the trainings, I have added some more information to my teachings. Food preparation is important and I am now empowered.

I learned that you can make various dishes with the available ingredients  from local communinty for example one can make bean balls from beans,  unlike before where we would just boil and eat them with sadza, now I can teach people to make bean balls”, said Agnes Barura Village Health Worker for Ward 28.
